CPU/Ram: 1ghz / 256mb pc 133 ram

I am currently running Win xp pro with avg free edition and for some reason the i keep getting a virus pop saying that i have the virus:
Trojan horse downloader.Adroar.A and its located in a folder that i didn't create called "E:\System_Volume_information\" and for some reason what do i do to get rid of it becuase avg doesn't seem to ever catch it when i run virus scan?

Turn off system restore (Control Panel > System > System Restore)- virus scan again then turn sytem restore back on.
