I'm getting messages from both Avg and Norton , that say C:/ windows/isrvs/sysupd.dll
Norton also say Download trojan
both says no action taken.
How do I get rid of these pleaseeeeeeee
Thanks for your help in advance

go to download.com and get thecleaner it's free for 30 days try that and see if it gets rid of it, weird that its recognizing the trojan and not even just quaratining it though.
God bless Daniel Morcombe!

Sorry to say, you got a nasty one.

It may take a couple of days to get to
you, but they have more insight to your
problem.Good luck

As abnormal says, you have a nasty one. Go here and follow the insructions. http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english

Per, trust Me this is very nasty.
A reinstall may be the easy way out, or
restore if that works anymore.Removing it the wrong way can wipe out IE.

or restore if that works anymore.
I actually did come across that one once, infected explorer.exe and all. The System Restore wiped it, then a purge of the restore got rid of any remaining backups.
Too bad restore is so unreliable, but it never hurts to try it. I've even seen one of the newer infections that intentionally disables it on you.
Good link for SW... better than just sending them to the homepage like I've been doing.

I have had two of these downloader trojans lately, and both times AVG didn't do anything except report it. I used Hijack this to look for the files, plus google searches and was finally able to get rid of the dang things. They seem to come mostly from the music download sights or from the programs related to making MP3 files, etc. Be VERY CAREFULL.
Good luck.
Bob ;)

ok, got the warning to stop when closing down by doing hijackthis in safe mode and deleting what I thought was the problem. now when I run house call i get 3 different troj
troj loader.D c;\winodws/system32/pncun...
trojan loader.C c;\winodws/system32/pxfunc...
Trojan Dloader. DG c;\winodws/system32/vxclci...when I find these in hijackthis , they are all exe's do I delete these??
Thanks in advance

Yes, none of those are o/s files, delete them and hopefully your system will be back to normal for you.
God bless Daniel Morcombe!
