I bought an old laptop, dell cpi and I bet it's a 4-6 yrs old computer. It is working great except the PCI socket that doesn't work for dial up 56k card(card is working on another computer). I tried a networking card and it worked so I know the socket is not broken; but when I tried connecting with the dial up 56k card and it popped "no connection found" or no response, something like that.....it's like the card and PCI socket isn't connected at all. So why's that? How can I fix it? Thank you for helping.
