Somehow a Trojan virus slipped into my System restore. I've since "turned off" the restore, rebooted, "turned on", etc. This didn't seem to do too much.
Norton Pro 2003 (From what I've read) will not find or remove this virus.
I've snooped around the registry, startup, win.ini, etc. and haven't been able to locate any traces of the virus. Except, my local drives and Windows folder. When I access "sharing and security" I see that all of the above are shared (C$,D$,etc.). When I try to access permissions, "access denied".
Symantec's online check says....C:\System Volume Information\_restore{CE1FD7D7-2BC6-42DB-8ADE-797260B62DDF}\RP660\A0083243.exe is infected with Download.Trojan
Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. Sorry bout the length of the post.

When you turn off system restore...are you clicking the apply button> then ok?....Then reboot the computer and scan again...if clean then you can turn it back on. If you are satisfied you are clean you might want to concider making a restore point..not trying to be smart....just that sometimes it is overlooked.
