hi i have windows xp on my home computer and windows 98 on my laptop and i wanna transfer files from my laptop to my home computer. I have a parrelel cable or lpt1 thingo and i made a connection through network connections. I can connect my computers through that but i dont no how to transfer files even though i have the connection running. Is there any program that can do this that i can download or is already on xp???

i use a program called drive copy. you need a laplink cable, instead of an lpt cable.
then, you can use the xp file and transfer wizard

Keep in mind Alex, that transferring files using that method is extremely slow!
