I need to transfer photos and data from a win me machine without a network card to win xp with a card. How do I do this? Can I attach a paralell cable between them or maybe usb? The me machine does not have a cd burner. Any help is appreciated Thanks

You can do it with a usb cable or a parallel cable. Just go to your local computer store and tell them what your doing. They'll show you what you need. If you have a lot of data to move use usb it's much quicker.
Another way would be to slave the WinMe hard drive into the Xp box. Then just drag and drop the files. This would be the cheapest and fastest way to do it.

Thanks for the quick answer Sandman. I have an extra usb cable here and as I live in the sticks the local computer store is about 100 miles away i have to depend on you all here. Thanks again

A standard usb cable won't do it. You will need something like this cable.
