I currently have a western digital 80gb hard drive and I am replacing it with a 175gb hard drive. The problem is, I want to transfer everything from one drive to other so I do not have to reinstall everything. Please help. Thanks, Wes

Go to WD Support and download Data Lifeguard. One of it's functions is drive to drive copying.

If the extra space is required just for data storage, have you considered the easier (and cheaper) option of installing a second hard drive for this purpose. If you simply want the biggest HD around, then why not go for the 200gb, and really impress people?

Yes, and if there is nothing wrong or you don't have any plans for the 80gb hard drive, you should leave it as your master and the 175gb as your slave, plus partitioning them for different files for faster maintenenace if you choose. RMJ.
