Here is the scoop on my harddrive:
C: 19gb
D: 19gb
E: 50gb
F: 50gb
My wife's windows is on the F: partition which I want to move to the C: partition because she does not need that much space. And I want her F: partition to install Windows 7.
I would like to just move the whole partition files from F: to C: but I don't know how to do that and keep her files intact and running without reloading Windows XP which is a chore.
Can someone help?

First of all, I wouldn't have anything on the C partition except the operating system. If your C partition contains Windows now, don't mess with it. If she has programs installed on F, moving them will render them useless. If she has pics etc., you can move them to another partition. I would buy a second hard drive and put Win 7 on that. Another idea would be to create a new partition and use the space from either E or F to install win 7. Adding up the space you have now, I would get a second hard drive. 140 gigs isn't much space these days.
