I was asked how to transfer an email from a Yahoo Inbox to a New Folder under My Documents in the C:\ drive. I don't have an answer for that. Can anyone tell me how you can do that? Copy and Paste won't work. Drag and drop won't work. I'm open for any suggestions. Thanks.

you could set up IE to retrieve the mail from yahoo so it is saved in your computer!

Did you try to right click and "save as" function.

or for those really stubborn problems I like to screen capture using FastStone Capture a free utillity that will capture anything even scrolling screen shots.

lurkswithin: Thanks for your response. The context window that comes up when you right click does not give you the options of Save As, Copy or Paste when you select the email in question.

I don't use yahoo of anything... but if those are greyed out then they are pdf protected from copying and pasting. you will either have to configure yahoo to forward the mail to outlook so that it can be saved that way or use the simple program that I suggested to capture the screen.

You will probably have to contact yahoo inorder to get the mail yahoo mail server settings in order to forward the mail to Outlook..the tech support there should be able to give you detailed instructions for transfering it over also.

lurkswithin: Thank you for your responses. I did go to Yahoo Help and even sent an email to them. I got their ususal response that someone would get back to me within 48 hours. I have yet to get any assistance from Yahoo Help from past experiences. That's why I posted here on CN. Have good one.
