I have a TPG laptop with a DVD burner. It wont autorun a DVD that I burnt on my desktop. It autoruns on my desktop. I am unable to get it to burn a DVD either. It says that the blank DVD is not writable. I am using a TDK +R blank DVD. Any ideas?

"It wont autorun a DVD that I burnt on my desktop. It autoruns on my desktop".
This is what you wrote above and it seems to be a contradictory statement.
What is the problem?

He means the disc he burned on his desktop sytem (and also autoruns on his desktop) won't autorun on his laptop.
You need to turn on the autorun feature on your laptop.
As far as the burning issue with DVD+ goes, does your laptop burner support DVD+R discs?

Sorry if I confused the issue. I burnt a DVD on my desktop and am able to make it autorun on the desktop. Now when I put it in the laptop it wont autorun although I have the autorun turned on.
THe main problem is that the laptop will not burn DVDs. I will have to check with the manufacturer about the +R -R capability.
