does anyone know what this is: Valufmmq it is in the startup. My laptop has been hijacked i think, i have Valufmmq starting on startup not sure what it is, any help would be grateful.

You should definitely scan with a virus scanner (try http://free.grisoft.com) and a spyware scanner like Spybot (http://www.spybot.info). Are you absolutly positive on the spelling? Nothing shows up in google or wikepedia but the "Valu" part sure sounds like spyware.
