I have Windows XP Home edition, and whenever my family members log onto their individual usernames, the toolbar is missing. They cannot access any of their Word documents, outlook express email, or any other programs found in the Start menu. I am the only user of 5 who has access to the toolbar, and I'm not the designated user for our XP system. What can I do to locate or retrieve the missing toolbar? I've tried resizing screen resolution to 800x600 pixels but still no task bar. I can drag the mouse to the far right of my screen and it disappears, and i have to move it back to the left for quite a distance before it reappears. I've read all the other messages related to this, tried every suggestion suggested, but nothing works. Please help!

I don't know what other suggestions have been made, but it seems to me if u adjusted ur screen sizing via the monitor buttons, u will see the taskbar.
A point worth mentioning is that screen refresh rates can affect the size/position of the screen, so try changing that in Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor tab.
Also try updating the driver for ur card.
GoodLuck

Emi: open a family member account and see if this fix from Kelly Theriot, MS-MVP, will restore the toolbar:

and to restore both taskbar and Start menu:
