When I use the internet with either Aol or IE the toolbar and the desktop completely disappears. It does this when I go from one site to the next. I can't even see Start. Only thing I can do is continue online or use Ctrl, Alt and Del to open Task Manager and restart the computer. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Open IE...if the toolbar options/start button are not present, try pressing the F11 key.

I tried that Jam and still nothing. I was playing pokerstars and surfing AOl and the entire toolbar and start button disappearded. I tried everything (F11, Esc ect.) and nothing. Plus I still got this Trojan.Vundo virus that seems impossible to remove. Any other suggestions? Thanx!

You most probably have a Rootkit virus which are extremely difficult to remove.

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to open Task Manager
(or SHIFT + CTRL + ESC)

Goto the 'processes' tab and click explorer.exe once and then click 'end process'.

Now, click File > New Task and type explorer.exe then press "enter".
You should have your Taskbar back.
Hope this helps you.

AVG 8.0 have a rootkit finder (the viruses reside in Windows\System 32)so just scan this
folder. Hopefully this will sort you out but
I had to reformat my drive.
