Specs: Windows XP

Hi, i have obviously done something on my keyboard without realising it but recently the "edges" of my screen pages keep disappearing and consequently the tool bars also disappear until you put the cursor back up to the top of the screen. Does anyone know what i am on about, and if so how can i stop this happening, thanks

Did you mean the Taskbar, that scrolls down, when working on the windows desktop?
If so, move the mouse to the bottom of the screen so that the Taskbar scrolls up.
On the Taskbar, make a rightclick with your mouse and choose properties.
Here you can switch the Taskbar to always visible.

Hi, sorry i am not very technical, but , for example, when i have the ebay site up and am wanting to refresh the page, the bar at the top of the page containing the refresh button/minimise button etc has disappeared until i put the cursor back up there. It used to stay there all the time?

If it is a stand alone toolbar, there is surely something like options, where you can make a lot of settings. So check this.
