This belongs in the Office Software forum.

If you post it there, be sure to change the thread title, or it may be deleted for double-posting. "Excel cells" would be an appropriate title.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

Text Control - Wrap text

But, Sci is right... Office software questions should be posted in the Office Software Forum.

That isn't what Vasuki meant.
Insert a column to the right of the name. Select the cells that the name is in(not the header).
Go to Data > Text to column, choose delimited then next. Choose space then next. Then finish.
It is very easy. Practice on a new spreadsheet with just one or 2 names.

Must be the "put it in a separate row" comment that prompted me to provide the answer I did.

Domass,

Thank you.
I had never used that before even though I use Excel a lot.

I was thinking of a formula but that is much better and too simple.

Strangely, I import .txt documents often which is very similar. Just never had an occasion to come accross that one. Now I will know where to look for it when needed.

Thanks again,
Bryan

Your Welcome, In the past year I got a job where I work with a computer instead of a knife(packing house). We use the export to excel daily. I didn't work with excel before that. Seems like I learn a new little trick like this one every week that makes my job easier. I'm not a Microsoft fanboy but there is more to Excel than meets the eye. It's a nice program.

LOL

I wish I knew macros like some of the others whom give help on the Office forum board. They are a few levels above me.

If they are experts then I am Advanced at best.
