switch on the printer
let it warm up and self test
when it says ready on its display then:press offline so its on but offline
press menu 8 times so its on aux io menu
press item once then it will display cfg network = no
press + button to change this to yes
then press enter
then press item again and select tcp/ip
press enter
pres item
press + to select config tc/pip then press enter
press item twice to bring up the first part of the ip address (ie 192)and use + to change it, then press enter to store it
press item for the next part of the ip address (ie 168) use the + button to set as required and press enter to store it
press item for the next part of the ip address (ie 0) use the + button to set as required and press enter to store it
press item for the next part of the ip address (ie 7) use the + button to set as required and press enter to store it#press item again to set the subnet mask in the same manner (ie 255.255.255.0)
after they have been stored keep pressing item till GW byte is displayed and do as above for the gateway in my case 192.168.0.1)
after these chabges press item untill aux io menu is displayed
then press enter one more time
then press the menu button 9 times to get test menu
press item once then enter once, this will print out a self test page including the configurion details which hopefully you got correct!HTH
