hi !i wanna ask you something about the speed of internet!do you think is possiblle that i got something in my computer that slow down my computer and internet?i have the cd with xp and i already re-installed the windows.how can i re-install windows and to really clean my computer?
sorry for your time losing with my question!thank you and have nice day! bye !emil

How did you re-insatll the OS? If you used a factory restore disk(s)it will reformat the drive and put everything back to factory specs and get rid of the bad stuff, this method will erase all your saved data and programs but will re-load the MOBO drivers. If you used a full install OS CD, you would have the option to do a repair install in which case it would not get rid of the bad stuff but will save all your data, programs, drivers ETC. or you can do a reformat with a full install OS CD, this will rid the computer of the bad stuff, however this procedure will also cause you to lose all the data,, programs and MOBO drivers.

forgot to add, you can use google to find
ADAWARE
SPYBOTThese two will find most parasites and get rid of them.

thank you for your answer!i used a cd and i formated the hd so, i think is no chance to still have so bad stuff!but, i feel that is little bit different the speed of internet! what can be the cause?what are MOBO drivers?mother board?i dont care about it cause i have cd with drivers and my data i have it in another hd and windows is in C .the main hard disk is shard in 2: C and E.
in C i have my windows and in E i have music , films.so, i use only C for windows .and i formatted c and re-install windows from cd.is any chance to still have some bad stuff?
thank you for helping me! see you!bye!

well theres no way u can still have the bad stuff if u formatted .. but if spyware (badstuff) were in ur backup (e:) then if u click on it, it will come bac for sure so be sure to scan all your films, pictures, data, backup with antivirus and ad-aware or anything that removes spy and malware ..

There's a difference on how you reformatted the HD. Did you use quick format or was it full format? If its FAT32, a quick format merely removed the FAT, which means files may still residue on the HD.
