Hi People,
Just looking for other peoples opinions of the ISP named 'Tiscali' I have been with them for a few months and I am really losing patience with there service, now when i signing up with them or anyone else for that matter you agree to be with them for 12 months but I am seriously considering dis honourering that, does anyone feel the same way about Tiscali Broadband (btw if you are thinking of joining Tiscali, take it from me DON'T!!!! They have got to be the worst ISP I've ever used, AOL is 10 times better than them, oh yeh and 10 times faster).

Pentium 4 3.0ghz
256mb DDR
120gb Hard Drive
ATI Radeon 9200 Series

Don't mean to be offensive but this question has nothing to do with XP as an operating system. It will probably be pulled.

I use ukonline, it's easy to set-up, there is no "added software" to install, unlike AOL, BTBroadband, etc.. , plus the customer support team are based in the UK, not India or where every and they dont pester you with unwanted e-mails.
I have been with them for 4yrs and only had one instance when the server went down, that was the introduction of there BB service, via Easynet.
And No, I don't work for them, I am a very satisfied customer, if you are going to switch then checkout their web site, although you may be bound by Tiscali's contract, good luck.
Hope this helps

Tiscali might not let you churn away from them, unless you pay all outstanding money owed on the remaining contract...

I'm with tiscali and apart from the occasional dropped internet I have no regrets or problems.

I started on 512 and they upgraded me to 1meg free of charge after my year was up.Fair doo's,the prices changed and it wasn't really an upgrade as such.

I'm online everyday and have never had a problem.Maybe you have a contention ratio issue?

If Tiscali gets too much for you, I could recommend UKOnline which gives me a fast 8meg connection for about £30.

Best to look at a product comparison site like Broadband Genie (www.broadbandgenie.co.uk)

Hope that helps.
