Hello all,

I can't seem to get the time right on my PC, although I've got the time zone set correctly (London), the time is 1 hour behind (ever since we moved onto British Summer Time). I have the Automatically adjust for daylight savings box checked in the Date and Time control panel. Why is this not working?

Hello Gontofe, i presume you live in the UK, or Ireland, Portugal?? GMT time??

If not, find your country by Right clicking on clock, Adjust Time and date, click Time Zone, choose your Country from the drop down list, Click APPLY before exiting.

Is the country always changing after you set it?? Make sure you click APPLY when changing the country.

Also, when was the Last time you "Changed the battery" in your computer??? If over a year of so, maybe you need to change it??

Hope the above helps, GEP

gontofe: Assuming your battery is good, verify that your Date & Time tab information is correct. April 2006 and the correct date on the calender. Then below the clock your digital readout corresponds with the analog clock. Ok, now in the Time Zone tab you have selected your time zone correctly by clicking on the downward blue arrow to the right. You also should have a check mark for automatic daylight savings time if it applies. Now, under the Internet Time tab, a check mark for auto synchronization and either of two sites for Internet Time server. Click on Update Now and verify that the time changes correctly. You've probably already done all this, but I thought I'd just go over it with you. Try the other server also, if need be.
