Tile view problem in Windows Explorer

Specs: Windows XP
Hi,

I'm backing up MS-Word documents in a folder. I view word files in tile view mode and arrange icons by "modified". And Windows Explorer used to show file size in this view mode.

Then it changed and showed modification date and "Microsoft Word Document" and it didn't show file size.

I restored windows to a previouse date by system restore. It worked for some time (1 day), it showed file size.

And now it doesn't show file size, it shows modification date and "Microsoft Word Document" instead.

What can cause this and How can I fix this problem?

Thanks.

ozguny, By default Windows XP only remembers 400 folder view settings. Go to the link below and scroll down to line 2 (left column) and click on "Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000" to download a reg file. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.

More info under the letter "F"--"Folder Views - Keep Settings" at the link below.
