thumbnails all the same picture

when i open window explorer to view my photos (jpg). all the thumbnails are of the same picture (corsica water??). i have to open the photos in another prgm to view. it just started like this and can't get back to normal thumbnails. any help please.. franbarb

Using Windows Explorer open the folder in question, change the View to details and then try deleting the Thumbs.db from that folder. Close Explorer and relaunch it and change back to Thumbnail view.

franbarb, The info at the link below is for Windows XP and I'm not sure if it's applicable to Windows Vista.
Bryan's suggestion may also work but in Windows XP the thumbs.db files are hidden files and you must go into Folder Options>View tab and choose Show hidden files and folders.
I'm not that familiar with Windows Vista so you may want to post this on the Windows Vista forum. Tufenuf

If none of these work, try clearing your caches and/or temporary files. Disk Cleanup or whatever equivalent Vista utility should take care of that.
