Ok every now and then a file on my desktop apepars. it is lableded just like this below.

what it is ? why is it there. My text editor cant read the language of it.
Some say its due to windows update others just say delete it.
Well it bugs me and I want to know whats causing it.
All the people i talk to say it happens to them to, but thats just wired that no one has took the time to look into it?
any ideas? ~

The ~ is called a tilde. The file which pops up is a temp file from Outlook Express; it's completely safe to delete.

cool, yea i found out the new windows update backed up the file to the desktop but will be corrected in future updates.
