It only appears blank on this laptop, but not on others. It used to work well, but some time ago it failed to load, suddenly!
Other websites load as normal.... how to resolve?

Nope, it's not that simple.... delete cache, temp files, revert settings, put on Trusted Site, still to no avail..

Well, there are three clues:
• company laptop
• Firewall
• IE8

The 4th clue is missing... Is there a reason you are not submitting a link to this "problematic" website?

Plus, what does "appears blank" mean? No error message? The mention of "others" suggests these may be on a common network? More info needed. otherwise it's a time-wasting guessing game.

Well, it's not a problematic website, its just a radio station It can be accessed from my home laptop.
When it appears blank, it is just a white empty page with "Done" on the lower left corner of the page. No error msg at all.
"Others" means my colleagues' laptops on my company network, they can access the website with no problem too.

Have you checked it is not in Hosts or Restricted Sites?

If you temporarily turn off the firewall does that help?

One I've run into recently is sites that use Silverlight. Might be worth installing it to see if it helps (or any recent Silverlight updates).

Are the "others" using the same server?

We all live on a ball.

It's not in Host nor the Restricted site.
Being in a company setting, I can't really turn off the firewall, but i guess it should not be the issue since my other colleagues can access the website, and we are using the same server.
Not sure abt Silverlight... probably can't install it as we are not allowed to install non-authorised software.
