Google is my homepage and that loads fine, but sometimes it says its loading the IP or something, then I close the window and then open it again and it works fine. help please.

have you ran any spyware removal software yet? Given that you have AIM on it, you are probably covered in it...

Personally, I try to keep away from AIM just because of the spyware faction. I could imagine a good spyware scan, preferably Ad-Aware, might solve the problem. If not, please report any new program you got or anything you did differently between the time the internet worked well and when it did not.
Bye for now, & Read you soon,

Google might be loading fast due to caching, as for why the "Internet" would just slow down...that's another issue. Are you wired or wireless? What is your normal downstream bitrate?
