i have a compaq presario R3000, with 1.8 ghz, 512 RAM, and also have an Creative Vision mp3 player, the problem occured when i was pluging in the mp3 player i pulled it out quickly by accident, but when i pluged it back in it gave me this error message "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" can some one help me fix this problem, i have reinstalled the software and everything and its still not working i think its a problem with the registry...

my programs on the desktop and in the start button bar when you click on them they become hidden what do i do please help

Shut down your computer and turn the power off at the wall. Leave the power of for several minutes, then restart your computer. This sometimes fixes this error...

yes i have tried another computer but it still doesn't work

The problem is most likely the player.

Go to their website and try to trouble shoot it from there.

no its not the player because it works on my friends computer i think its my computer because i didn't safely unplug the USB i know my computer recognizes it, but every time i go to device manager and i click on the MTP device it shows this yellow (!) excalmation point and it says device has error code (10) i think it messed up my registry for the player do you guys know how i can uninstall the registry code from regedit
