Comment:

My blandnew T40 started to make some kind of ham noise when I turn the volum high so I removed the audio driver. The problem is when I reinstall the audio driver, it requires a file called "dmk.sys". I have no idea what the heck is this file. Apparrently this file is not a part of the driver. Support guy says that I need to reinstall the windows, which I don't believe.
Could someone help me out?
