When claiming an overheating problem, it always helps to post the temp reading so that we can see if your CPU is actually overheating or not. What are the symptoms?

With a CPU temp of 56C, I think you are already runnig under a load. That is REALLY high! My AMD 2000+ never runs that hot, even under load. Maybe you forgot the thermal paste?

Summary: If you replace the paste, apply the new thermal paste sparingly. Too much is bad. You just need enough to fill the microscopic size imperfections. Sorry, I do not check for private messages...
