There is not enough Virtual Memory

I am getting a virtual memory error. Here are the messages I am getting regarding that... "This program requires at least 3MB of Virtual Memory to run"..."Not enough free memory"..."There is not enough Virtual Memory Windows is compressing? files to adjust..or something to that effect.

What's the program name that requires at least 3MB of Vm to run? Your stat doea not show how many RAM you have.

I had the same problem with a program, actually the exact same 3MB error. It occured when I added a page file to another drive. When I just left the VM on the C drive it was OK. Obviously it's a flaw in that particular program, not the computer.

The last time I saw a message like that, Adobe Photoshop7 was the problem child. I moved the pagefile to a partition on a faster drive which solved that little problem. There seemed to be a clash with it's own (Adobe) caching system and Windows.
