I have the welcome screen disabled and use the traditional NT-style logon box.

The trouble is the default theme, appearance, mouse speed, etc. is different to the one I use as my primary user account. When I logon, restart and logoff the theme changes which is, quite frankly, ugly.

I used to be able to replace winlogon with a copy of explorer, logoff and change the logged off appearance through explorer, but since I reinstalled I've forgotton how to disable file protection.
