Reply: (edit)Not from within XP itself. Google for a third-party utility (potential snake oil) just to change the taskbar icons placement order to your liking. The best thing to do is to stop making it a big deal & learn to adapt. This is what I did myself when it first annoyed me. Why? I prefer to have a very stable operating system more than a cosmetic one. i_XpUser
