Comment: Hello friends. Friday is my favourite day of the week. I need help how to format a crdw cd becaus i have some important programs i want to save to. I cant understand the diference in using fast format then slow,slow format takes some long time near an hour. im using windows xp & i uses easy creator cd 5.Thank you friends and have a happy weekend. Reply: (edit)Fast formatting formats the entire disc. Short formatting formats the table of contents. Programs that allow quick write access to CDs often require a full format the first time.
