temporary internet files folder

I want to save all the contents of the "temporary internet files" folder before I format and rebuild my computer. After the fomatting the computer I wish to copy all these files into the "temporary internet files" back. But the system does not permit me to do so. Haw can I do so.

Why do you wish to save those files? They will be rebuilt as you visit the same sites again. It is actually a good idea to purge those files reqularly.

Thanks OtheHill for the response. I want to save the cookies which are there for auto ligin to the forums I am member of. I am member of about 30 odd forums. I wish to avoid the login again an again...Is there a way out?????

Well, first off, you would only need to login one time and tick to auto login in the future. Looks like XP has a program you can use.

Ops so you only want to export about 30 cookies? You probably have hundreds if not thousands of cookies to plow through. In that case use this little known but extremely handy utility.
