Hi all
i am running an online game that need port 7171 to be port forwarded my problem is when someone telnet my ip with port 7171 this make the game crash
i wonder if there is anyway to block all telnet to my pc
i dont use the telnet in anything so is there is anyway to close it or block any incoming telnet?

You can block all telnet by going into services. Start, control panel, performance and mainenance, admin tools, services, scroll down to telnet and r/click and disable.

Telnet is a remote side communication that will try to access your ip and port if told to. Unless you have a layer 7+ switch you can't stop the protocol. See if advanced firewalls can monitor traffic by protocol. That will SLOW down your system.
