Hi My Tecra laptop used to have sound via the speaker but lately just noticed that it does not any more but the headphone seem to work fine. Anyone knows what happening.

Developer, the fact that you still have sound in the headphones makes me think it's nothing more serious than a setting. A fubar in the output circuit from card to speaker's always a possibility, but sorta doubtful. HTH. Ed in Texas.
