just plugged it in,red light on the mouse lit up, rebooted. then had the pop up "usb mouse found" followed by the " wecombe to found new hardware wizard.
after going through the process i get "a problem occurred installing etc. so not working, any ideas?

First, uninstall any and all mouse software via add/remove, then boot to safe mode and remove all instances of mice from your device manager and reboot with the mouse still plugged in.

You'll have to use your keyboard to navigate windows and desktop/start menu after removing the mouse drivers.

Safe Mode Cleanup of the Device Manager
