TCP/IP hangs apps.

Hi,
When I try a right click or to open a document, or to even explore my computer, my system hangs for > 1 minute.
This only happens when I use TCP/IP to access my ISP. If I disable my broadband connection, I am fine. The funny thing is that when I bring my laptop to a client who has my machine automatically obtain an IP address, it works fine.
But when I am back home and try to access my ISP using a non-dynamic address, I am back to the hang situation described above.

In your IP configuration, try pointing to different DNS servers closer to your location. It's hard to say what's causing the problem, this may or may not work, depending on your situation. If not, definitely get in touch with your ISP.
