Must have gotten there from a virus or malware. She may have a virus or trojan or worm or adware or some other sort of
malware. Are you sure that's the exact name?

Run an AV scan, and download AdAware and Spybot, install them, update them, and run them. Delete anything that looks suspicious. Some advise deleting everything because it's all reversible. Also get Spyblaster which keeps a list of bad stuff on her computer and blocks them from being installed (theoretically). Be sure her independent (not MS’s) firewall is enabled.

She or you may have to go into the registry to complete remove it, but I strongly advise against that unless you know what you're doing.

Spybot

AdAware

Thanks for the info. I've already ran adaware and spybot on her system and its still there. That is the exact name that shows up in the ie menu. She's back at college now so I was hoping I could find an easy fix for her.

No luck on Google with that one, hmmm..
Nevermind, we'll have a look.

Download and run Hijackthis!

Click on "Scan".
When the scan is finished,
click "Save Log",
and copy and paste it in a reply.

Thanks ice. I won't be able to try that until tomorrow. She's gonna be home for awhile in the afternoon so i'll have her bring her laptop home with her. I'll post the results tomorrow.
