Ok for the past couple of days I have a problem with taskman, it won't come up! I do ctrl-alt-del and nothing, I try to run the exe and nothing, not even the system admin message saying I don't have access, I'm use to that with spyware. This is really strange. And before anyone jumps the gun, I have, here is what I did already. I replaced in safe made the original exe from the CD. I then ran malwarebytes complete, found a few things but fixed nothing. I then ran spysweeper, nothing but cookies. I then ran AVG professional, nothing. Everything has all the recent updates too. So then I tried gpedit.msc, settings are correct, either not set or disabled for taskman. So then I tried the registry to make sure that the setting was correct there before I went any further. It's fine. So since I have a program called security task manager I ran it to see if something was running that was interupting it, NOP. Trust me I know my tasklist like the back of my hand, I practically have taskman running on another monitor all the time. I am at the end of my rope, everything short of either revert back to a backup point in windows, which I don't want to do, I would have to install a bunch of new things, or crash which is even worse. Normally I would just download a replacement, but this is challenging me and I don't like it. Any ideas? Nop neither one of the registry fixes work, I had Taskman enabled from the beginning anyways, I had already checked that one. AVG is up to date with latest update. I am using a bunch actually, a lot of malware program, spysweeper by webroot and malwarebytes also. Then I'm using AVG and asquared. And if things get too fishy I could install Norton for a short time. This is really weird when I de ctrl-alt-del nothing happens, not even a message box. When I go to run and try to run taskman I get an hour glass really shortly then nothing, not even message box.

Sorry guys, already downloaded that program a day ago and tried. No go, I think all it does is just enable the registry key, which I also already tried. I know I just keep putting up a wall with every idea, this is a real stinker of a problem. That's why it's got me so mad, I can't figure it out!! Let me check my services maybe there is something running in there I missed. I'll get back to you. I didn't know about ctrl-shift-esc though, new thing :)..But also won't work sorry.
