OS: dell dimension 2200
CPU/Ram: pentium

Comment: not sure what caused this but my taskbar/icons are gone from my desktop. i have no start menu and must use my ctrl/alt/dlt to access programs. have ran a virus scan which detected two trojans, startpage.y and revop.c. i think they were successfully removed. still no start menu. any suggestions? going mad.

Reply: (edit)the trojan i have used in the past gives you the option to hide taskbar, icons etc the fact that you mentioned you had to trojans on your comp makes this sound likely are you sure you aint got the trojan n e more, check task manager to see exactly whats running Regards, Jamie McCoy
