Hello,

My taskbar was working as expected... with "Taskbar always on top" checked, it was always displayed on top of all windows. Now after installing all the MS security and SP updates, the taskbar is displayed below all other windows.

Has anyone else seen this? Can anyone explain how to fix this?

Try ticking/unticking "Taskbar always on top" and "Auto Hide The Taskbar".

Do this a few times and hopefully the problem will clear itself.

Keef444,

Thank you for the suggestion. I have tried that, but the problem persists.

Only one other thing I can suggest.....

Try running sfc /scannow in the RUN box to check/replace any missing/corrupted files on ur system (insert XP disk in the cdrom).

There might be a registry setting for this, and mebbe someone else will know where.

GoodLuck
