Taskbar wont hide anymore!!!

My taskbar doesn't want to autohide anymore............I haven't installed any new software lately, and yes in the taskbar properties I have "autohide taskbar" checked.....The strange thing is if I uncheck "autohide" then hit apply, then recheck it and hit apply then OK, it will autohide once, but when it comes up again, it won't go back down...Anybody else with this problem!!!

Try going to Windows update. Check if theres any fixes out there for this problem. Its worth a shot. I think Jaybro watches to many movies. Plus a Jodie Foster movie. I couldn't drink enough to watch one of her movies. :)
Not so fast chief.... I bet this problem creeps back into your life very soon. I have had the same thing for weeks and have not found a solution yet. My Taskbar seems to demand staying on top no matter what I do. Sometimes the auto-hide setting sticks on reboot, some times it doesn't. Quite annoying. It got to be so random I just turned auto-hide off and learned to live with the bar on top. I gave in. I quit. Threw in the towel. If anyone can help JayBro, you'd be helping me too. Thanks!
