Taskbar problem! please help~

Hi, lately i don't know why but my taskbar no longer shows program running anymore as if something is hiding them. When I minize windows i need to use task manger to pick them back out! Also my quick launch cannot be limited in length on the taskbar anymore.. it shows all icons in it and do not hav the drag tool to adjust it even when taskbar is unlocked. please help

What happens if you right click an empty area of your Taskbar and click either Lock or Unlock the Taskbar?

nothing much happens.. only that the taskbar is unlocked, but it seems that the quick launch still cannot be adjusted, nor can i get the buttons for running programs back!

Oh one more thing! if i hide the quick launch my entire taskbar with the start button dissapears!

How do you go dragging some of the icons in quicklaunch back to the desktop and deleting quicklaunch icons to get your resizer back and size it and lock ??

Maybe the whole taskbar disappears because you have selected Autohide the Tackbar.
Just click the taskbar properties and choose the settings you want
