Specs: Windows XP
Hi,
I read the previous questions here and cudn't find a matching one so thought to ask.

My taskbar icons don't appear at all.
nothing. I believe some kind of a registry change has taken place.
Any suggestions?

schwepZ, Do you mean the Quick Launch icons aside of the Start button or the Notification icons aside of the clock?

Next to the clock would be the System Tray, not the taskbar. There would have only been a Registry change if you made one.

Look here in the Registry [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer. Do you see a "NoTrayItemsDisplay" entry? If so, delete it.
