Owenfello,

Try:

1. RIGHT click on the blank Taskbar

2.From the popup Context menu , click on Toolbars>Quick Lanch to create a Check mark (Tick Mark) against Quick Launch
This must restore the Missing Icons

Owenfello, First right click your Taskbar then uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" then follow maadhurimn's instructions in Response Number 3.

Owenfello, If you mean that the open programs blocks are not showing in your Taskbar when you minimize them go to the link below and under the letter "T"-"Taskbar" click on "Minimized Programs Missing" to download the vbs file. Save it to your hard drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double
click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.

"NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled. These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System Registry".

Minimized Programs Missing Fix

If that's not what you mean please explain which icons are missing.
