Task scheduler appears to be working, because all my tasks seem to be working, yet when I boot up PC an error box appears showing "TASK SCHEDULER NOT WORKING". Checked admin tools,and every thing is configured correct.So if ther is any geniuses out there, I could use your help.....THANKS

rickydd: in the process of scheduling your task, you'll have to enter your password. but just putting any old password in won't work. you have to enter the password that lets you into Windows XP. perhaps you did not set up a log-in password? if so,click Start,Control Panel, double-click User Accounts. click "Change an account," then click your account. click "Create a password." enter the new password in the first two boxes, then enter a hint if you like. click Create Password. to enable entry to your computer if you forget the password, now is the time to create a Password Reset Disk, see: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=305478 let us know what worked for you...
