hi there wanna get back to ur task mannager!! every time u type(CtR+ALT+DEL)
task manager pops up and disappear in few sec!!!!
i finally found a solution:
i m gonna add this link all u have to do :
rename the task mannager

Thanks Kayvan, That was a very helpful POST and the little program works like a charm!

The problem I'm having though is that my MSCONFIG opens fine and stays open, however the "Startup" tab is empty!

I have to go into the registry in order to check and modify the startup programs that should be listed in MSCONFIG.

This happens in both my original MSCONFIG and in the copy that this program creates.

Any Ideas?

A substitute for msconfig which might help you out is Startup Control Panel.

I just wonder what is happening to my OEM version of MSCONFIG?
