I am trying to find out how to get rid of the past items in my task bar there is so much stuff there not even sure why but now it takes my computer for ever to start up and I am sure its because of all the crap there...... if you can help me with this I would be most greatful.... thanks

go to start, run, MSCONFIG, then hit enter. go to start-up tab and un-check any programs that you dont need loaded at start-up. really all you need are your AV program and ones windows needs in order to start. you can uncheck most that are programs that you have loaded. then hit OK and reboot. if your not sure about a program then leave it checked at first and then try un-checking them one at a time and re-booting and see if effects your boot-up. this will speed up the boot process greatly. good luck..........
