So, you want to capture a frame from a movie, eh? That requires either a program like Adobe Premiere or something by Ulead, or you can see if other video players have a capture feature. Most don't, however.

If you use Premiere, you will need lots (like, 1GB+) of ram to load the movie, then scroll down to the frame you want to capture.

However, a slight workaround would be to take a screenshot of your desktop at the point in the movie you want a picture of, then to use a graphics program to cut the movie image out. I don't know what programs take Windows screenshots, though.

Sorry.

Mittens.

You can take a screen cap using your keyboard. Control print screen for the whole screen, control>alt>Prntscrn for the top most window

GOOD LUCK

The screenshot of the player has always worked fine for me until I downloaded media player 9 yesterday. Up till then I had been using Beta 9 and it worked like a charm. Now all I get is a black screen where the movie was. It's annoying to be sure, but Premiere can handle clipping stills with no problem.

I wonder if Gates and company realize that the more they try to censor folks, and fret over copyrights and such, the more they lead others to create better and better ways around it? Someone will have this media player 9 "feature" hacked and figured out before you can say scat.
