Syteme Restore does not start

When I want to start Systeme Restore (by F1) it does not start with message "rstrui.exe" can not be started. If I try to start rstrui.exe directly (over Start) I get the message "rstrui.dll" not found. Searching "rstrui.dll" on my device brings no result. Can some help me? Thanks Klaus

Is restore enabled? In Control Panel > Admin Tools > Services scroll down to system restore and see if the service is enabled and started. If not then right click it. check properties and set it to automatic and start it up.

Klaus, rstrui.dll is not a valid Windows XP file name and I can't find anything on that file doing a search. Go to the link below and under the letter "S" scroll down to "System Restore" where you'll find several links to System Restore problems.
