Having problems especially with the internet after my system has been on for an hour or more. Upon initial booting, the system moves fast and flawlessly but after sitting idle for awhile it becomes extremely slow especially the internet. Well, mainly the internet. I have a wireless configuration but this is the wired computer.

After sitting for awhile, I have to sign in and out of Earthlink's Total Access to access the internet and sometimes I can't even do that. However, after booting, I can access the internet without signing into Total Access and basically all webpages load. Unsure why my system is sluggish after being on for awhile and not at other times.

It's just the process of rebooting to get the system up to speed has become cumbersome and all. Used basically every adaware program and virus program but that still did not help. Could this be a result of an overheated CPU? Just curious, thanks.

A simple reboot would not fix an overheating CPU other than momentarily. Have you looked in taskmanager to check what processes are running that might be using up your resoures?

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Yes I did that and it's the same even at 15% or lower CPU usage. Something tells me it might just be a side effect of my wireless network.
